I use a 15" Macbook Pro 2.8ghz Core 2 Duo, 8gb ram, 500gb HD, supported by a 2TB time capsule.
I mainly run TSP2, logic, komplete elements, ableton lite, a bunch of other random vst’s, SC2, firefox, iTunes and VLC media player. No issues.

I got the new 2011 15" MBP i7 2.0 running TP2, Itch 2.0, beatunes3, and some other random stuff.
For on-the-road:
MacBook Pro 2011 13.3" Intel i5 2.30 GHz 4 GB RAM 320 GB.
For home:
Intel i5-760 @ 2.80 GHz
Gigabyte P55A-UD3 (must get a new motherboard, this is a budget one)

So my home PC is a beast, but still it pops and crackles in Traktor 
. Need to find that out though or use a external soundcard. Well, that one will come with the DB2 .
Same 15" as Dustin, purely for gigs so used for Pro 2 alone.
Just picked up a 13" macbook, I’ll load Traktor on that too. It’s a 2 gig dual core, with RAM and HDD upgraded. Perfect size for browsing on the sofa!
Also have a OODJ loaded with DEX, but I never use that, shocking waste of money :eek:

15" hp g62, 8gb ram, i3 processor, win 7 64 bit, 500gb hybrid drive in place of dvd, 500gb os hdd, 8gb readyboost
tsp2, cubase 5 , chrome, safari, office 2010, gamebooster, dropbox, mp3 tag, revo uninstaller pro, vlc media player, install avg onve a month and do a full scan then uninstall again.
my lil windows laptop runs like a tank

MBP 15" 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo 4GB Ram - TP2, Maschine, Logic 8, iTunes, Firefox, mail, etc. No probs at all, touch wood.
Seems a lot of guys are using Mac! Where are all the PC guys? I want to know how all this music software is going on windows these days
Piss weak lenovo g550 with some puny single core processor, 2 gigs of ram and a 150 gig hard drive running elementary os (mac wannabe ubuntu based linux distro) with xwax 1.0
I’d love to also own a macbook for use with some other DJ software. I don’t really like windows for laptops and I would really love to have a controller type setup (spesh since there’s that new DJ software and the A&H Xone:K2 are on the way!
just wiped my laptop clean last month (about time to reformat after rigorous usage of 2 years plus, making the Windows Vista x64 really buggy)..pretty much empty atm, the only dj related software installed was VDJ 7 to use with my Mixdeck.
Besides running the usual Office 2010 & bla bla bla, Chrome & Firefox for facebook gaming 
, Adobe Premier Elements 7 & Camtasia Studio 7 for video editing.
This multitasking machine I have is Sony VAIO VGN-Z36GD, the Core Duo (2009) version, 2.66 Ghz, 4GB RAM & 320GB HDD

This computer is used solely for Traktor 1.27 and disconnected from the Internet.
I haven’t had any failures with this setup whatsoever.
Laptop: Acer Aspire dual core 2.4 ghz, 4 gb Ram, Win 7 64 bit, 500Gb Drive
Main programs i use are Photoshop CS5.1, Audition CS5.5, TP 1.2.7, TP 2.1.1, Mixed in Key 4, Mp3Gain, FL Studio 10, Tuneup Utilities, Gamebooster 3, Comodo.

Road/DJ: -Macbook Black 2006 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD. Snow Leopard bootcamped w/Win7 Ultimate. Will upgrade to Lion when I get an SSD for the cd drive mod.
Software: Traktor Pro 2 and MS Office 
are mostly used and some other crap work related…

Software: Games (Steam, Deus EX HR, Tropico 4, SC2…), MS Office, Resolume, Dropbox, Virtual PC, bunch of other cloud-based crap.
