The above shown Reactable has been the prime example for tangible user interfaces during the last few years. Even some big artists like Björk incorporated it in their liveshows. It’s fun to use and there lies great potential. Especially if you consider that multiple persons can work at the same time with it.
There is an iOS-App too which mimcs it. Of course the cubes are only rectangles on the iPad but you get the idea what its all about. Try it if you can. I fire it up every now and then just because its something fresh.
The iOS app is quite fun.
But yeah Reactable has been around for ages.
You’ve all probably seen this as well but when you see he way the pieces interact with each other in the OP video it reminds me of this!!
