I don't scratch and play straight house/techno so I'd benefit from heavier records since I find myself nudging them a lot. *However* I am physically weak as shit and lighter records are easier to spin back (for seeking/cueing purposes of course). :PQuote:
Yeah, in my experience it goes like this:
Thickest to Thinnest:
White
Black
Desolat (L.E. Marble effect made by Desolat)
Clear
Blue
Neon (all)
Red
7" (look cool, pretty useless though)
White track amazingly well but are not good for scratching. Red are the thinest and are really light and great for scratching.
