Unless its all crazy glued up, i'd say it would break down fairly easily. The downside would be though putting it together would be like doing a jigsaw drunk.

It looks pretty good, I'm sure it would hold up without a problem even if not all the pieces were glued together. But for the price to buy the PVC, the time put in to measure and cut the pipe and all that...just spend the $30 for a regular laptop stand. Unless you really like doing projects like this.
