Here is my current setup guys
oxygen 8 v2
ddm4000
cdj 800 mk1
2 vestax pdx 2000 mk2
M audio connectiv soundcard(Shit)
i also have a numark stealth control i am kinda tryin to tell, $225 OBO
what i have mainly been using is the m audio connectiv to send 2 channels for me to mix externally on my ddm, then i use my oxygen 8 for internal transport controls, i have used the records and the cdj timecoded and i know know i still prefer just using my oxygen, up untill about a week ago i was using vdj instead of traktor because when i first tried setting up the connectiv with traktor it failed (i now know i have to swtich the 2 channels for some crazy reason) i just sent my ddm 4000 away for warranty because it made a wierd noise when i shuck it up and down, for anyone that is up to check out my mixes i have linked my soundcloud, ps this is my first post, later guys

I like how you duct taped the connectiv down. I have that card...gave me nothing but trouble. I'm using the Audio 4 DJ now and have yet to have a problem.

I really like that setup! I was thinking about how a mixer with two X1's could be an awesome mobile setup..way easier than luggin around turntables.

(This is what I see when I start up Ableton)

The software setup is far from straightforward compared to what Ableton presents you with (there are actually 19 audio channels, 5 midi channels, and 4 returns), but it's amazingly intuitive to play on.

Next step is a Crane stand to replace the book and shure cartridge case that the VCM is sitting on and an Überstand to replace the shoebox the laptop is sitting on. I'm also considering getting a smaller audio interface to bring places, and while I love my HD 25s, I want to go back to IEMs.
