Buying my first controller, deciding between a couple, need your opinion

Bingo, and the audio card is meh, the A2DJ is better in my opinion (direct comparison swapping DJs at a house party). My friend's OC had less umph and lacked presence compare to my A2DJ, and I had LOTS of room left on the gain;-)

Yup, that night. I now have a DX as well. Two different beasts but equally as much fun to rock-on with. I have no favorite, it's a mood thing.

Sweet. Have you ever used the Hercules Steel? The VCI is definitely the best build quality of the group though.

Never worked with a Hercules product, but the users on the forum seem to like them. Come to think of it, I've never heard a complaint about them, just people move on from them (not in a bad way, just expand into more).

If you were to ask me between the Omni (friend has one) and a Hercules (never touched one), I would without hesitation recommend the Hercules, but only after asking why you wouldn't want a VCI!
