lol, wonder if my son knows about that?
works best if you click the 'i'm feeling lucky' button - ironically
back on topic....
isn't there a hotkey command in traktor to split a recording? similar to it creating a new file after a pre-set file size?
if so, when you're recording you could have a key mapped to that and hit everytime you're on a new track, and therefore split it as you go? think there's an option for doing this on the crossfader to, but if you like to get fader happy that could result in millions of files....
Man just re-record your whole mix in traktor. Make some minor edits along the way where necessary and set markers to areas where you want to cut the track on the downbeats. There is a "CUT" button in the traktor recorder. As long as you don't miss where the downbeat is. Its as easy as 1-2-3-4.

Hey guys,
Thank you all for the responses. @completej, thanks for helping me find a good splitting program.
Basically what I'm looking for is a way to find out the MM:SS:FR of my individual tracks (so minutes, seconds, and frames). I was trying to figure out how to display it with Audacity and Ableton, and I couldn't figure it out. Once I have this info, I can write up my cue sheet.
Anyone know what software I can get this info with?

Using audacity or peak pro:
Starting at the end of a mix i would "cut" the last track off and create a new file and call it "Z". that way you know it is the last track... then cut the next track and call it "Y" and work backwards etc.
Then wack them all in itunes, click burn icon and make sure in preferences that you have audio gap set to 0 seconds...
that's how i do it.... didn't read the link if there is a better way, probably there is![]()
