Bring sugary sweets if your playing a 3+ hour set

    DONT:

    Be late

Get too drunk before or during your set.

Do's in the gig:drink but always start slow, read the crowd and always try to mix those songs that I never tried or heard that mix before.
Do not before: pot, drink or spicy food.
During the gig do not's: pot, sit, discuss with the customers , make announcements or whatever on mic and play "las mananitas", get too horny with you know those kind of girls
    haha "mananitas"?

Always mix a song from each of the past 5 decades every 2 hours or so (separately)... Then add at least a few tracks from the past year that made it to the top 10. I try to keep ALL language out, just because it isn't necessary and I can do amazing without it. Don't drink, don't smoke, be early.

And most important! Take request and let people behind to booth the be in awe of my setup (people still have never seen arcade buttons in DJ setups, gotta make sure they hear the good news) ^.^

Don't like to play old shit, but maybe it all depends on the type of crowd/club..

    Do:
    Be friendly,
even if a gig isnt going well, do your best to look like you're enjoying it, this tends to rub off
    on other people.

    Dont:
let mixing influence song choice, 99% of getting a party going is song selection,
mixing adds polish but cant replace substance.

    Do:
    1. allways prepare my set in advance i.e. create seperate folder, dated, copy tracks in the folder, run through mixed in key...
    2. allways have a couple of drinks before & during my set (just to loosen up, not too many as to be sloppy though)
    3. Allways play at least one of my remixes/Bootlegs/Originals in a set
    4. Allways play a completely crap song that i absolutely hate but i know all the girls will like (more girls on the dancefloor, the more guys there are too, and the happier the club owners are) UNLESS its like a label night... then i just smash hard electro/fidget and Dutch all night :P

    DONT:
    1. Set up at the last minute... made this mistake once... NEVER AGAIN
    2. Leave directly after a set... allways like to stay and mingle, talk to the club staff, make contacts, talk to the other DJ's, plus if a girl has seen u DJ and she liked your set... you wont pick her up if you leave straight away :P
    3. LEAVE WITHOUT DOUBLE CHECKING MY GIG BAG!!! once i left an Audio 8 at a club... wasnt there the next day... so i basically played for free that night
