You said the speakers connect with a small headphone jack? Therefore all you need is a large to small headphone jack converter.

To me, it looks like I've got everything correctly set up... so I click close. Right or wrong?

So now my controller should be working? My DATA light is blinking meaning it's sending midi, but Traktor doesn't change at all. I open up my Controller Manager only to see this again.

It's reverted back to defaults and doesn't remember I added my controller? Why'd that happen? What gives? I've exited multiple times, readded the .tsi multiple times. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm running Pro 1.2.7.

On another note, speakers again. I've found an adaptor at Circuit City. Noob question? but... headphones Output A and speakers Output B or vice versa?

Usually you would plug your phones into the 'B' Channel, so plug your speakers into the left side mate.

Cant help you with the controller issue, i'm not a vestax user.

When I launch Traktor first, then turn on my controller and import the .tsi file it seems to work fine, but when I launch Traktor again... it seems like that's how it's gotta be done again.

That's a small inconvenience, but I don't like that that happens when it shouldn't be.. ya know? Any ideas?

The screenshots look normal to me mate, the devices in the controller manager reverts to the first one alphabetically when you close and go back into the preferences.

So, my mapping works. Yahooooooo, thanks to all you guys. Just plugged and played today and it remembered it's shit without any importing.

Need some help with my Audio 2 DJ and my set-up with that. It was working last night, then I unplugged my stuff for the night hoping to come back tomorrow and see that my work had paid off, but now I don't have sound coming out of speakers, only in the headphones. And I'm also confused on the whole cueing aspect through the headphones... am I only supposed to be able to hear one deck at a time?

What channel should my headphones be in and what channel should my speakers be in?
From there, how do I set up my output routing? I've tried what was said in a previous post, and that didn't seem to work. Can anybody help me out? Should be good to go after this. Thanks all! Sorry for reviving this thread!

You are only supposed to hear one deck at a time depending on your cue mix through your headphones to 'cue' up at a track.

In Traktor, go to setup wizard in the bottom left hand corner. Then follow until you get to the bit where it asks you if you're using a NI audio interface. Choose yes, then choose the Audio 2 and it should set it up for you from there. Plug your headphones into either output and your speakers into the other output. You should be good to go.

I'm just not sure what to have as Output Monitor and Output Master. Can anybody push me in that direction? Also... I need help with the latency. I'm hearing plenty of buzzes, crackles, pops - whatever... for some reason I can't click and drag the latency bar? Any other ways to change that?

Make sure you've gone through the setup process first, it should sort it all out for you.

As for the latency, make sure your computer/laptop soundcard is NOT selected and the Audio2 is.

Output monitor = The one headphones go into.

Output master = The one speakers go into.
