Thank thing looks really nice. I was looking at the Digital Jockey 2 Interface Edition before stumbling on to the VCI-100SE but after all the tales of horror I heard about Reloop I decided not to get it.
The mapping for the VCI-100SE was a big contributor too but now that I've had it for a few months I rarely actually use fader fx for example and would really like fx knobs for two units at the same time.
Thanks for the update. Really liking the look of this. Endless, push button encoders do it for me!! ;-)
What was the sound quality like on the interface edition? Ive got the DJ2 interface and whilst the sound quality is ok for house party stuff it certainly isnt professional by any stretch!
And are them big buttons hotcues?
MacBook Pro, HD25's, Midi-Fighter Classic, Pioneer DDJ-RX, Rekordbox
yes, the big square buttons above the platter are hotcues.
the sound quality was perfect, no complaints at all, both the main sound and the booth sounded great, I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between this or my motu ultralight mk3, its solid.
You can't give us a ballpark on price? even within 200 bucks....or say what it will be priced similar too?
I just got paid to play for a few days at NAMM, I don't work for them as an employee and the soundcards are fine, there not metric halo or apogee but there in the game with any other dj modeled audio in/out.
as far as the motu comparison I use an ultralight mk3 everyday and I noticed no difference in quality on the headphones or booth output, it was fine.
I emailed the distributor to get a price quote and will post back.
