dude, it's half of the point of that transition. If your track is echoing out at a different rate to the new song it'll sound crap, and if you start the echo with the rate slaved to the other track it'll be a sudden tempo change... and will sound crap.

Was a solution to this issue ever found?

Ean's tutorial makes is sound smooth as warm butter, but in practice it ends up sounding like an epileptic kid playing with the pitch fader.

I've got the same issue... I'll do a recording of what it sounds like..

Strange thing is it works fine on TPro but not on my S4 Software and everything appears to be set the same :-/

As soon as the master switches from the outgoing to the incoming deck you get a really weird effect....

I dont have a problem. but granted each time i use the freeze effect im going up in bpm or only dropping a tiny bit.

it should work fine, listen to fullenglishpint. dont go from 190-70 by hitting a button and willing it to sound good.

Nah, I've tested it from 120-100 and again with 123-110 or so and it just never sounds right. If I keep the BPMs closer than that then there doesn't seem to be a point as I can just use some drawn-out tempo adjustments and beatmatch from one song to the next normally.
