I own this mixer. I got a proper bargain too, cost me GBP 119.00 - that's USD190.00...reconditioned and in pristine condition. Sometimes ebay is the only way.

It's a great mixer, can't recommend it highly enough.

When I worked at GC, the D.2 got returned as defective or DOA almost as much as the DJX700, which was the most-sold and also most-returned DJ mixer we had. Apparently they either had a bad run or their reconditioning works, because I haven't heard those complaints nearly as much lately.

    Nice feedback, thanks for sharing...
I will def try those EQs today

I would go to the External Route if I had the money to buy a DDM4000... Since I don't have it, I will stick with internal two deck mode with this setup bellow:

I was considering getting a nuo3.0, but now im not sure. Is the nuo EQ in traktor representative of the hardware eq? If so, how do you guys manage with it?
Lots of filter use to get rid of the rest of the bass frequencies?
    I guess it is representative.
Gizmo had the same thing to say about the eq in his NUO 3 review which you'll find here on Skratchworx.

Which means I can mess about with the nuo EQ internally and see if I like it before investing in a nuo 4.0 (wanted a X:42 but pricing changes killed that).

Cheers for the heads-up, im all over that review
A bit late though, Ive been lusting after the nuo 3.0 for months and after much deliberation, Ive decided that I would not be happy with anything else. So I dropped the cash for it, just waiting on delivery!

The Traktor Manual also explains and tells you the values of the Freq Cut in these diff EQ's.

I checked it out the other day. big Diff!

Good call. The nuo 2/3/4.0 are very good mixers, great sound and build, no frills and (relatively) affordable.
I played with the knobs and faders on a 3.0 when I waited for the shopkeeper to dig up some Concordes and I had a very good impression. No wobbly bits, smooth and solid everything.
