stick with what you know and trust, this could make or break your career.
new software almost always needs tweeking until you figure it out or maybe a patch is needed, i know guys using the S4 had some issues with the software working different that what they where used to in TP
    dont risk it...

i would definitely go with tsp1, ie the software you KNOW how to use. Its the same as when I got my VCI-100 SE, I wouldn't have used it at a gig for a least 2 weeks until I was used to it.

As has been said, there may be small glitches in tsp2 and also if something goes wrong, you're less likely to know how to fix it if it's in unfamiliar software.

    Good luck with your gig!

Thanks everyone! I think I'm gonna just stick with tsp 1 for the gig and for that matter... just not buy it until after the gig

For such an important gig I would stick with TSP1 mainly for two reasons:
    - You should get used to the changes in the synchronisation architecture (this is true for timecode and non timecode usage)
    - You should be aware that the stripes created in TSP1 do not contain the information needed to display the coloured waveforms and need to be re-created

wild guess: previously analized files have low res stripes so when you zoom them they would look like arse.

You need to reanalyse all your music.

The new "TruWave" waveform requires it. When you install T2 you should run "Check Consistency" and then do "Analyse".

All your previous track info/grids/cues will all be present and when you load a track it will appear in the deck and play with no problems. But you have to reanalyse to get the Stripe View.

Yeah its a drag but, the new waveform requires it and it is worth it.
