Question for people who've upgraded and had the "beatgrid/cue point shift issue". If you launch the old version of Traktor are the beatgrids & Cue points still off?

I really wouldn't think so since since it's an entirely different collection, but I'm curious to hear if it's different.

Reimport the old collection and beatlock everything (select all>right click>bpm lock), it shouldn't touch your grids that way.

I loaded up the older version last night to fix a few beat grids due to the new version lacking the count to or from next cue point when hovering.

With that said I modified the cue points, quit and relaunched the newer version and the cue points where modified. So it seems to be reading them from the MP3 file and not the collections master db in my case.

I don't even have TSP2 yet, I was just throwing the question out there to see if it might be helpful in figuring out the issue. When I do get TSP2 I'll make sure that all my beatgridded tracks are locked BEFORE the install for sure.

I let Traktor chew out my entire 3000 track collection in one go...

It took 8 hours, and the first time it had an issue, as my traktor user library was on a hard drive tat ran out of space (DAMN!).

So I had to do it twice.

And as a side note, on my laptop, analyzing absolutes SPIKES the temperature. And having the temp spiked to max for 8 and a half hours at a time is defiantly NOT recommended.

I mean, its not "definitely" going to break anything. And I used to do temp spike/cpu load testing on processors I was over clocking in desktops, routinely for 24-48 hours at a time, and I have never killed any components with the stress testing...

But then again, that was always inside a highly ventilated PC tower, with after market cooling solutions.
Same here on MacBook. I just upped the fan speed overnight...

It happens automatically when the cpus are under load.

    I installed smcFanControl and created a profile for 3000rpm and 4000rpm. I have a 2010 MacBook though.
