In fact i never look at the post count of any member unless i think their spamming.

bait is something like

note the parts that would get people mad.

- stating an extreme as fact
- accusations
- possibly intentional misspelling

it can simply be as simple as going to the serato forums and saying serato sucks because it has NO effects

- dissing a fanbase
- stating something as fact when its not

it can also get as subtle as mentioning someones name when you know the likely ending will be a thread derailment (here that would be 'tiesto' or 'deadmau5')

feeding the troll is taking the bait and replying to it.

I can't stand Skrillex as a DJ, but I like his work as a producer.

Honestly, I enjoy his music. He's hitting that hard niche of Dubstep that's going viral. And he does it well.

What bothers me about him is that he's riding the Deadmau5 train on that label, and so anyone associated with Deadmau5 immediately has thought Skrillex's shit doesn't stink. And while I like some of Deadmau5's stuff, I can almost consistently say I dislike his fanbase.

The problem with these guys, and Skrillex in general, is that they aren't in the scene for the right reasons. They are in it for the "scene" itself, and not the music I feel. He's an ex-indie rocker who said hey, I bet I could make some of that wobbly Dubstep. He's a skilled musician, I just don't think his heart is with it.

I mean for example look at my post count which is nothing compared to yours but i still see myself as an active forum member i only post when> I need help, Iv a question to ask, i have an opinion on the matter the thread is directed towards, i can help someone with their problem, i can answer a question someone has or just generally have something productive to say.

I dont post to get my post count up. I mean some of the some of the productive/ helpful posts that i have read are from people with a low post count this is not a popularity contest dude.

Look, his music isn't for everyone, I even don't like a good chunk of his work. But I can still admit that he has mad production skills even if his DJing isn't the most technical.
So stop bein' all jelly of his wild fame, production skills n' such... and grow up.
