The sound is great. Nothing short of phenominal imho.
The jogs wheels are as precise or more than any controller.
Although it probably wasnt intended for it, its really well suited for scratching and juggling.
To answer the question about midi, yes you can assign the CCs.
The reloop and touch rewind work well as hotcues.

i do like the idea of this as a house party type of setup. the lack of gain knobs is a bit of a pain... autogain software algorithms aren't always the best!
a mate had the numark idj2.. this trumps it hands down. the idj2 was such a pain to use and tracks took forever to conform.
I just love the feel of a laptop, and the sound quality. It's unmatchable IMO. The big screen to see the waveforms on, the tactile feedback of a keyboard for browsing.
For anyone wondering, that isn't a serious post. I'm just theorising what people will say in 15 years, based on what vinyl purists say today![]()
