Mid-lo's I keep on the Mid knob and it seems to catch some suttle basslines and deeper voices, and I've been keeping low on the low knob like before.
    Great stuff manchild... Thanks!

I'm having some conflict mapping this.

    Basically what I want is

S4 Hi = Xone Hi + Mid Hi

S4 Mid = Xone Mid Lo

    S4 Lo = Xone Lo

By Default the S4 Mid is mapped to Xone Mid Hi and the Mid Lo is not mapped at all. When I map the S4 Lo knob to the Xone Mid Lo knob it also affects the Xone Mid Hi

Would you pls be able to Explain or send me the TSI so I can have the Xone EQ mapped to the S4 without conflict.

    Thanks and Much Appreciated.

Unfortunately you are right. I ended up changing back to my orignal 4-band set-up because of it ( High - s4 HI, mid HI and Mid Lo - s4 mid, Low - s4 Low). Unless you want to delete the default mapping and re-map the whole controller in MIDI mode.

I switched to the xone eq yesterday and made the S4 mid hi and lo in the xone mids. I did a four hour set today and didn't have any problems. What conflicts are you guys getting?

Yea that can be done. Thats what I first suggested, but I had the idea of combining the mid hi and hi on the hi knob instead. The conflict is when you do that the mid hi gets reset by the mid knob on the s4 when you turn it cause the default s4 mapping has the mid hi controlled by the mid knob on the s4. So i'll bring up the HI and mid HI with the s4 HI knob and as soon as you touch the mid knob on the s4 to control the mid lo the mid hi is changed with it. seems mad confusing.....let me know if you get what i'm saying

This mapping was just updated today. http://www.traktorbible.com/freaks/m...ew.aspx?id=192

Installed and working perfectly here.... Hope this helps anyone that is looking to use all 4 knobs/xone mixer

PS: use the big fat import button. It will clear out any existing mappings so be sure to back them up prior to import (using edit -> export for each area). Then reimport using add -> import each missing area such as midi fighter, etc (if you have them).

I might have found an issue with the 4 band mapping.

Stop both decks. On deck B set a 1/32 loop.

When I hit play on my X1 (deck B) both decks start playing and both are in a 1/32 loop?

Meanwhile I cannot stop deck A at all. Stopping deck B takes deck A out of the 1/32 loop and starts to play as deck B is stopped.

It's not a big deal for me really since I very rarely use Loops but I thought that I would let you know about it.

I asked NI about the User mapping implementation -- it is clearly different than the Default. Here's the response:

"The default and user mapping share the same signaling, but the default mapping uses an additional layer (called Device I/O) for more complex mechanisms, such as driving the loop size LED’s, and the high-res jog wheels which the user mapping currently cannot access.

Instead of reimplementing all these functions to the user mapping, we plan to make the default mapping much more configurable in the future, and we are already working on this. This will allow you to use the functions that are only available in default mode side by side with your custom-mapped functions."

So I look forward to seeing what NI provides for this in future product releases, which will hopefully allow User mappings (or hybrid Default + User mappings) to be even more functional.
