Default 4-band EQ with TPro 2

    Hi guys,

Now the 4-band EQ is available in TPro 2, has anyone succeeded in changing the mappings so we can use it neatly?

I'd like to move my filter knobs to control the low band, and use FX units for Xone 92 filters.

    Cheers,
    -W

I liked using the 4 band Eq mostly because I could take away bass from a song especially during transitions without losing mids and vocals. So I just have both mid-hi and mid-lo mapped to the same mid knob on the s4 controller as I can go without the use of controlling them indapendantly and rather not sacrifice any other knob.

Is it possible to set the mid low and mid high buttons with the Shift button? Adjust mid low with Shift + Low and adjust mid high with Shift + Mid or Shift + High?

Yeah after the same thing myself. Really thought NI would just made it switch that way when you selected the EQ mode

I think that's a smart idea manchild about mapping mid high and mid low to the same knob, i might give that a whirl and see what it's like.
Failing that i was thinking the same - using the filter knob as the low in 4 band mode.
However, i don't want to take up an fx slot just for a filter.
I'll have to have a good play and think about it.

Thanks. Try combining the hi and mid-hi together on the single Hi knob too. I've been running like this lately and like it better so far. Mid-hi and HI seems to catch everything I'm looking to boost when I want to raise the volume of the Highs and vocals in a track without getting too much mid's. Mid-lo's I keep on the Mid knob and it seems to catch some suttle basslines and deeper voices, and I've been keeping low on the low knob like before.

are you doing this in native mode? Did you select the Xone EQ in preferences and then add a user mapping? Sounds like a great idea.

any adjustments like that I have a user mapping to go alongside the default mapping since they dont conflict. Litterally add in Kontrol s4 mapping (user) go to user mapping then add in mixer/eq/whatever eq to whatever knob you want to use

When implementing something like this. Is it still in NHL mode ?

Has anyone tried this for Xone EQ on the S4
