Dimmers are so you can "mix" the colors to get various different shades of color.

Anything LED powered by Chauvet. The quality is very good for the money, other cheap stuff is usually all plastic. Go for stuff like color palettes and color strips. Screw all that cheap tacky stuff that looks like it belongs at a middle school dance.

Well i got these lights not from this ebay dealer, but similar ones and there pretty good, i use them for up-lighting cheap alternative, and because i live in the Caribbean, most events are outdoor.

they are ip65 waterproof, you can pre select 16 colors and white and dimm them.

or let them run color for color.

Waterproof led parcans are way more expensive.

if you like led parcans and you got your own company, you could directly order with Chinese factories, way cheaper then chauvet, and when you look at the lights then most of the time they are identical, just oem products..

i am at the moment in contact with viva stage lighting, and hoping to do some business with them soon. there product range looks similar to a lot of the chauvet products, don't know for sure, but saw a picture with chauvet on it as i remember correctly.

minipars from chauvet not in production anymore, but this factory has similar lights just 11 dollars per light, well you have to order more. but that is a sweet price for a dmx light. Only problem shipping and custom duties is more then the whole light.

Keep you informed when i get these lights in.

Up-lighting is a good way to make some extra cash for the mobile dj's under us.

Oh and no spam hammer, just informing about some cheaper possibilities.
To save some money for nice equipment.

    Fuck this shit.

Projector + old computer + milkdrop + live input from your mix or a mic in the room so it'll also pick up ambient noise.

Hell DIY a lens on the projector to spread that shit out all over the room.
