True story, and there are good maps out there for traktor use with the 300.

True but the jog wheels don't work even nearly as well. Like ajrindy said, if you want to scratch with a controller you kinda have to use itch at the moment.

    I did .

Exactly the same as what I was going to answer to you.

Too be fair, i LOVE the VCI-100's standard lay-out and mapping. Too bad it's just 'average' at scratching...

The only thing I can really think of is the stanton SCS 1D. I heard good things about their little router program, though I can't confirm anything. I think Tom2501 has one and there's bound to be some other people with them. Why not ask for their opinions?

Thanks for your suggestions but I really need a very portable all-in-one controller, the SCS 1D just isn't portable enough .

Yeah, it's a bit of a bummer really. I hope that something comes along to rival the VCI 300, lack of choice is not cool.

But you'll have to trigger FX on Itch with your mouse than, don't you?
Because you can't control them with the VCI-300 (and it can't be remapped).

I wasn't aware Itch had effects without the little addon effects controller thing?

I'm not sure either, that's why I'm asking... well at least I know the FX work with units like Numark V7
