Its also for everyday-listening and rearranging your file-names and locations.
Most people don't seem to care where their files are stored but I like my system clean. Even if my library in TPro and Serato was broken I could still find most tracks.

this.. make a way to keep both synced.. so when one changes the other does as well.
idk why any one would need to load to deck from the media player lol
BUT I guess you could make some kind of external traktor browser..
make it act similar to iTunes.
Also custom consolidation would be awesome..
so if I wanted to store tracks like:
genre/track... instead of iTunes BS artists/album/track
When I'm not on Traktor, I usually use Foobar to play tunes. More often than not, I end up opening Traktor anyway, cause I get that itch
Foobar supports FLAC, has a graphical EQ, all sorts of playlists, and has a ton of plugins. I saw a thread a while back on their forum where some guy set up dual playlists and some sort of functioning crossfader, even.
It has Kernal playback of audio, too![]()
Fixing stuff that isn't broken.
Media Monkey for those so inclined
You can sync an iPod with it.

--Its not the OS, It's the user--
I used to use that but I like how I can access my iTunes library in Traktor.
One thing I wish iTunes had was a way to customize filenames and folder structure. Media Monkey and MusicMatch Jukebox had that.

so updating will fix this? auto-tagging pisses me off so much. i use Mixed In Key and i re-tag pretty much all of my music. but then when i launch it in iTunes, many of them revert back to the original tag. that ever happen to anyone else?itunes stopped rewriting iD3 tags for me ever since i upgraded from 10.0 to 10.1...
I wrote my own in PHP with a flash mp3 player - runs on localhost
Allows me to create playlists, move files, edit tags etc
Would be easy enough to create a flash exe / dmg for the front-end - if I had the time that is, plus it would require people to install mySQL and PHP and a web server
So not that user friendly really ...
That sounds as much user-friendly as the last Traktor Scrobbler was on Mac where you had to install Mono and do some bash-magic before it worked
I will look into MediaMonkey. Maybe it offers already similar to what I'm trying to achieve.
For those using Traktor and Serato a central player would be awesome though.
