I really like them. I Had the Technics 1200 and the Red Waves sound so much better to me, more punchier u can hear the bass nice when cue'in. And they're light as hell. So far I recommend them.

Go on Amazon I bought these for $60 and you can't beat that.

What's the NS6 like? I'm considering getting one of those, or a Denon MC-6000 for using with TP2 in the event that I upgrade.

My setup:



Kinda basic atm, but hey, baby steps, right? Also got an X1 waiting in the mail... And I really should get a pair of monitors (and do something about that horrid desk).

That's a nice looking desk, just sand the top and paint it or find a stain to match it.
It looks like it's the perfect height as well.

Nah, it looks too low. For DJing, it should be at least belly button height. Any less and you get back ache after too long.

EDIT: but yeah, it's a nice vintage desk! The wife would be jealous.
