Yes its expensive, but you get what you pay for in the end.

relax, hard disc manufacturers are wise and magnetically shield hard disk platters, mainly because they didnt want neighboring discs blanking each other. mechanical vibration dropping you mac to the floor is a more reasonable worry.

I'm pretty sure studio monitors are shielded as standard too.

I made some X1 stands and actually got it all to fit without putting the TTs in battle

Nice to finally have a working mixer, it is incredible.

NxtDoor reverb, my new favorite effect

I also have a separate vinyl setup in my kitchen, because I can.

How do you like the 4D these days?

The mixer itself is pretty epic sounding and I liked it better than my 92. Once I got an X1 though I was no longer sold on the MIDI side panels.

@xonetacular im still digging my 4D it's a great midi and mixer hybrid unit which i don't think i'd give it up. i'm still using the midi side of the 4D as i mapped things out in deck focus layout so most of the transport are from the 4D in 4 deck mode. but i'm gonna get my hands on the DB4 as it's going at a bargain where i come from plus a DB4 plus two k2's(receive upon release) and the xone cans for a good price. digging the x-link connections and with just one usb that's a whole lotta controls. plus i love how the effects sound on the DB4
