Perfect? Or affordable? Otherwise I'd be pointing you in the direction of a DB4....

Milk crates are as old school as it gets, mate!!! ALL of my records used to live in milk crates.

As long as I'm alive a milk crate will be in my setup. In fact I think I'm going to tell my family to burry me with a milk crate. Now that I think about it how sweet would it be to be buried IN a milk crate.

    Kinda hot, honestly.

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I own a Xone and a VCM-600. I enjoy mixing using my lpd8 as a mixer more than anything I've owned. Rotaries = Sex, and simplicity is a wonderful thing.

    Or:

That's my perfect mixer. Almost. I'd prefer it either had a xone hi-mid EQ (though I'd settle for just that one) or no channel EQs. But, I'll deal with it having too many controls because it's so sexy.

I know it's kind of anti-(everything that DJTT seems to stand for), but the db4 has nothing on the DJR-400. If I had $2600 to blow on a mixer…I wouldn't even shop around. I'd just call and order one with no phono preamps and see if they'll build one with a high-mid EQ replacing the high shelf EQ on each channel.

Rotary, nice big knobs, sounds awesome, master EQ, old school charm? Anything else?
