digging for your own records helps you refine and define your own sound...

take all the artists that everyone has given and dig into them...the remixers...the labels...eat it up if you are serious about it...

    and please buy your tracks

I like deep house at most but I've been told that where I live it's nearly impossible to get gigs so I'm concentrated on the progressive, electro house and some techno but mainly progressive.

As progressive Eric Prydz's productions snd remixes are always get my attention.
    And also:
Jerome Isma-Ae - Speed (Original Mix)
    Hardwell - Twilight (OriginalMix)
Roger Shah & Sian Kosheen - Hide U ( Pumpin' Island Mix )
Hardwell & Nick Romero - Beta ( Original Mix)

Also lurk around on soundcloud. You can find a lot of undiscovered talent on that site. You can throw in songs and tracks that none of the other DJ's in your area will have , adding a bit of variety and uniqueness to your sets!

i consider most listed as "club house"

When I think prog house I think Jaytech, Dinka, Claes Roesen, Pryda, Shingo Nakaruma.

genre's are so jacked up these days...i am confused as to why some stuff gets called nu disco and indie now...

to me "progressive" house is the melodic trancey older sasha and digweed sound...
