Cool. I'll concede the mobile DJ point. I guess I've been unlucky, but I've never seen a mobile jock who couldn't have replaced all of his both with iTunes. Yes, someone needs to be there to choose the songs, and yes that's the biggest part of a DJs job, but the DJ equipment seemed like more a marketing expense than anything else.
(note: not disparaging the other parts of a mobile DJ's job…just talking about performing here)
I still don't quite understand why you need it on an S4 if you're playing in clubs. I get that it's a pain to reach it, but how often are you really adjusting the booth monitor? Whenever I've played, if I have any control of it…I just set it to where it's barely loud enough to get the job done and then never touch it again.
I guess we're all different, but I still just don't see the need.
