    the celebrity editions come in only once the format is in its decline. cf. who wants to be a millionaire, the apprentice, etc.

    yeah? i mean, the whole ultra-commercial, fist-pump DJ thing that's currently happening in the states doesn't affect me. hopefully not. but i haven't fully thought this through. i guess it may affect me or it will do so at some point. same goes for effed up DJ tv.

    c'mon folks, this could be good lets have some input to the weekly judging criteria;

    Best Jesus / God pose of the week

    Most expensive pair of Beats Audio headpones (unused of course)

    Best supercombo dance move to hit the sync button

    Best 'DJ' t-shirt

    Best gushing / crying eyes out "dont send me home David / Simon, it's my life long dream and destiny to be on the shite factor.

    the list could be endless.....

    Apart from that I bet they get a big player in the hardware market to sponser the programme........... Think about it, get a DJ system out there for less than $400 / £300 and think how many units they could shift with some LE software bundled in :eek:

    Its interesting for sure! I also wrote an article on this subject, on NYCelectro.com, exploring how the should could actually work. Whether or not the show will be good or bad is left up to the network, but I have a feeling it might be pretty cool.

    Here is the Article:

    Flip the entry thing on its head:

    "Hello Ean, Simon Cowell here, would you like to be a judge on my new smash hit international DJ show, I can offer a million a season contract with free global exposure for your business"

    I wouldn't turn that down, would anybody?

    That's a great point! A million seems kinda a lot for a TV show that isn't established yet, but then again Cowell is loaded. And DJTT would blow up big then. I'd like to see Q-bert or as someone else mentioned Jazzy Jeff as a judge as far as a turntablism expert goes.

    Although I don't think he'd be the best choice, I could see Guetta getting a spot or maybe an offer just cause he is a recognizable name.

    Nothing at all against Ean competing, but it seems like the show would be more for amateur DJs, though if it is open to many levels I would like to see him enter.
