Fight free club, is this possible?

Club that plays top40 and that whole crowd? gonna have your douches and fights.
Club that plays EDM? Gonna have some weirdos on some shit getting pulled out of the crowd too fucked up, and more often than not too many guys.

Maybe I've assumed incorrectly, but "commercial" and "trying to be vegas" stuck out. Those places attract amateurs and professional douche bags, plain and simple.

I can honestly say I've not seen one fight in the major clubs that I've been to. Only time I've seen fighting is when I've been in shit cheesy clubs full of beer boys!!!

Stop going to shit clubs and you'll see less fighting.

Yeah, pick and choose where you go wisely. If you want to go to meathead infested clubs with a/b mixing all night with crappy music, you're going to get the idiots.

I can't say at any proper electronic event I've been to have I seen a fight. I will say that I have friends who go down to NYC fairly often, and there's always shit going on. But here locally? Nothing of the sort.

It's actually something I really love about the scene above just the music. It's a happy environment.

I find that clubs who promote a strong sense of 'community' - for example based around a specific music scene, tend to have less trouble. Commercial clubs with transient punters who just want to get drunk and laid, less so...

But you can't guarantee fight free, because you can never tell when a drunken knob-end who has no intention of ever coming back may turn up.

And don't employ security who enjoy throwing people down stairs and stuff - that helps too.

Can only speak from my general clubbing/DJing UK perspective but 'proper' dance music (NOT Edm!) nights I've been to since the mid 90s til present day are generally fight free, never seen a major problem at all. The mainstream, high street clubs etc, well yes, can be fights ahoy, but those with a dance music policy of whatever genre has been absolutely fine. I think the UK dance music scene in general is very good in terms of respect/attitudes for/to each other, it's what makes clubbing in the UK so great IMO.

i've been out in Los Angeles a million times and have never seen a fight inside of a club (avalon, the mayan, vanguard...)...i did see a bunch of armenian guys yelling and putting each other in headlocks...went well wih my bacon wrapped hotdog at 3am...
