EDIT: back on topic though.. i stood on my cable and broke my hd25's at the jack, i borrowed a pair of solo's and they were horrible, BUT they did get me through the rest of the night... however my hd25's were repaired the next day for Ģ30... you couldn't do that with a pair of beats

I don't think Beats make someone a bad DJ, just a bad consumer...

Well compare the Beats "Pro" to the HDJ2000 .. imho both are overpriced, both offer the same metal styling, both sound "meh" IMHO and yet there will be no rumbling from the masses if a DJ uses the latter.

Roll on Beats Pro Ean Golden Edition

I'm happily using my Senn HD203s, cost be $40, get the job done. Sure I won't get any rep for wearing them, but who cares?

Let's be honest, people buy beats to look good. Lots of dj's buy hdj-2000/hd25 to look the part (not all of us before anyone jumps down my throat)

Beats aren't really derided though when you think about it. I mean LMFAO uses them and he's my favourite DJ

I have a pair of beats mixrs that i bought over TMA-1s because of the rotating earcups and detachable & easily replaceable cable. They have treated me pretty well, although I've only had them for a couple of weeks. I agree that the solos and studios are crapily built, and the pros are way overpriced, but the mixrs have been pretty good.

    The Mighty Fake Vader.

Sorry....but on topic, the beats have WAY too much bass. I've got cheap beringer cans, and they sound better than the most expensive of the beats.
