Paris recently changed his name. This could mean he's been having an identity crisis posing as one Karlos Santos. Also, Benzon8 and Karlos both have "o"s in their names.....suspicious? I think so....

ok before the answering the quotes. Yeah Ive taken almost a year out of the NI forum (still involved in other NI stuff) and just over 6 months from this forum and have barely posted on Facebook etc to concentrate on a personal issue that I will not reveal but safe ti say my life has been somewhat fucking mental this last year.

Its all behind me and Im good and ready to get back into things. Ive missed the forums although I have continued to DJ and keep up with the technology, i just might not be so battle hardened so go easy on me in the forums.

Some of you guys I have missed a lot, some of you i'm glad I haven't had to read your daily crap (joke) but with a new out look on life im ready to come back... that's of course, if you will have me ???

heh, well perhaps I'm being overly-suspicious but I always thought it didn't sit very well having an NI moderator as a DJTT moderator... seemed like a conflict of interest, of sorts. Especially as DJTT has always been about hacking dj hardware (think back to Ean's original videos in 2008) and a general 'punk rock' attitude.

I don't think NI would be particularly pleased at DJTT so openly trying to crack the F1 HID protocols, especially so early into the F1's lifetime. And then there was the slightly uncomfortable thread where Ean was openly berating NI for not giving him the credit he deserves with the original S4 design.

NI have always been more than happy about me being a Mod over here. Theres no conflict at all.
DJTT have done nothing illegal and whatever they do is not in my name. If they did something i was not comfortable with I would have to make a choice but It cannot even think of a situation that would arise.
I dont break my NI NDA, and I dont (despite what some say) always defend NI on DJTT and I dont always praise DJTT on NI.
One man, 2 forums, 2 different positions... it's possible because neither is my paymaster.

Yup, you are being overly suspicious. He is the english editor of the Traktor Bible, Rainer (the author) was the one behind the FI Lemur hack, needless to say he is in the good grace of NI. That "hack" isn't breaking any license or contract since you aren't modifying Traktor or any of it's files (this doesn't apply to the timecode hack). The F1 still remains as the most intuitive and complete way to control the Remix Decks.

Yeah, I even edited that hack for Rainer. Is no big deal. What I do with Traktor Bible is, again wholly separate to what I do with NI or DJTT. There maybe irritable occasions but that's ultimately good for the Traktor user.

I miss my wee lad Karlos, Im about to go pick up Chilly and itajen and take a swim across the pond to look for Mr Santos. Between the rumors or the Smiths getting back together & the stones roses concert, I think he got the UK version of bieber-fever.

At first b3nz0n8 was really tied up at work, I guess this just lead to growing out of the daily ways of DJTT.

I bumped into him once or twice on Soundcloud, but this was already way to long ago.
