Use Mixcloud or Mixcrate instead.
It could be better. But the real question is can you do recreate that or do something similiar live with a couple of hundre people in front of you while being under serious pressure

You can start by staying in school and finishing at least highschool
20+ years man & boy, working the platters that matter. D3EP DJ.
what´s the reason that hinders you from making a mixtape? i mean, you won´t get any gigs without showing what you are capable of.
noone´s gonna book you without knowing what´s behind the name. the best would be to fully concentrate on mixing and making mixtapes. only when you´re feeling secure and stable with your abilities is the time to worry about getting gigs.

Yeah I get that. But all the kids that throw the partys usually just have their iPod hooked up to some speakers. This one kid was a Dj at this party and he only had a laptop and he just played the music loud out of some huge speakers and he got paid 150 dollars. If kids see that I actually have some form of DJ equipment then I know they would let me play. I know that what it sounds like im saying is that there going to let me in just because i have a S2. But what im saying is they would know I take it seriously enough to actually buy a mixer, get a macbook and show up.
i totally know where you are coming from. but let me tell you one thing (or two):
gear doesn´t make a good dj, i started playing out with a random qwerty-keyboard. i got into the club scene and still was rocking it. and nobody was complaining, cause they had fun. hell, if i´d stood there with only an ipod, they´d still party their asses off. it comes down to know what´s good is for a crowd. don´t worry about gear, MONEY etc. this will all come day by day.
priority #1 is getting to know your tracks. improving your mixing and so on.
and last but not least: please please please don´t do it for the fame. do it for the love of music. craving for things like money and fame will only lead you to the dark side and we all know what happens, once you´re there![]()
