Won't recommend you anything else the Adobe PS but if you want something top you gotta try Adobe Illustrator and InDesign

Never ever do a logo in Photoshop. Photoshop is raster, and thus not freely transformable without quality loss. Illustrator is a vector graphics program, and as such, everything you make will be completely resizable without any quality loss, as you're really just creating points.
