Don't F1s have their own volume control anyways.

oh my. im going to be really fucking broke. im such a gear slut. new iphone, new cdjs, maschine, possibly a new traktor controller.
Some may remember me as 'the guy that posted about the cdj-2000 nexus a couple
O'months ago'.
Djleaks (that's me) is back with devastating news.
The new Traktor device is going to be a 2-channel analogue mixer with Traktor MIDI controls.
In-the-box is the Trakor Pro 2.5 software. This unit comes close to Pioneer's DJM-T1.

Merged with the existing thread on the new NI controller.
It's definitely not the width of a X1/F1...
From the picture we can tell that the colored pads are the same size as the ones on an F1, which are 1" I believe. The crossfader is almost definitely in the middle of the device, so assuming it's horizontally symmetrical from that point, I'd say the width is roughly 12".
The depth is actually the interesting part though:
The F1, X1 and S2 (The All but one of NI's controllers) share a common depth of 11." inches deep.
The S4 is the only exception, at 12.7" inches deep.
Still using the 1" pads as a judge, we can see the bottom ~7" of the device. If this controller follows the depth of the s4 (which is unlikely, as this would never be paired with one,) then there is ~5.7" inches we're not seeing. The mixer section of the S2, from the bass knob up is ~1.3" shorter than. Which they might hopefully be able to fix by squishing the knobs in tighter.
However if this controller follows the depth of the X1/F1 and the S2, which is FAR more likely, as it's obviously meant to go alongside an F1 at least, this means there is ~5.5" inches of the controller that we can't see. That's a full 3" shorter than the mixer section of the S2, there's no way they could pack in all four knobs.
So TL;DR: If the rest is an EQ section, it doesn't have a gain knob.
that had not occured to me.....
