Hi, Is it possible for you to send the mapping? my id is djsharkin@gmail.com. Thanks

- are you really in midi mode
- did you set up properly your in and out ports
- are you using the controller editor
- are you using a generic midi mapping inside the controller manager
- etc, etc
posting a screen of your controller manager/traktor preferences could help.

There’s also an almost hermetic community that exists in many areas of dance music, where serious hobbyists feed off each other’s expertise but barely connect to the industry – despite many of those involved actually working in it.
-Im sure im in midi mode, the lights change and the display says on
-when i create a new tsi for the new midi mapping, i choose the s4 as port, didnt make any other changes
-installed the editor, keys are responsive there, but im not using it for anything ...
-I was using the default mapping before, in normal mode, in combination with some tsi sheets i mapped to my push and s4 myself to expand my control.
Do i have to make a generic midi mapping instead of the user mappings maybe?
Does this also mean i have to rewrite my custom user tsi files in midi mode aswel?

May be you got your answer:
user mode is the native protocol (ie not midi)
midi is ..midi
the s4 doesn't send both type of messages at the same type (not exactly true but you get the idea).
so yes (depends on what you do/want) and yes (note that there is within the files a s4 user midi mapping somewhere - as far as I remember - so I'm not sure what you call a 'user' file).
As for the external editor, yes you may need to use it to set up some of the buttons messages/types.
