    Soooo... The Numark Orbit is selling for $99.... How much are you regretting not using RGB LED's in any of these controllers, Nemonic?

    I'm pretty sure nem0nic didn't want his controllers to look like toys for a 3 year old.. These have 2 colors so you could easily map them to change depending on the deck you are using if the functionality still exists... but how much do you think pioneer regrets having only blue leds in the DDJ-SX?

    If we talk about rest of units than LC-1 I'd say you got only blue as mappable. Amber represent the off state if I recall correctly.

    Hate RGBs all you want. The DJ world has been needing them for years. RGBs are amazing for custom mapping, not to mention dynamic feedback like the remix decks, vu meters etc. The CMD controllers would have greatly benefited from some RGBs, and numark just proved they could be implemented extremely cheaply. Depending on what else comes out of NAMM, between this and the lack of velocity-sensitive pads, I think we can start nailing up the coffin on the DC-1.

    Also... Agreed about Pioneer... Numark just kicked their ass with the NS7 II.

    @oilythread

    These are beginner target controllers and most of those guys are not in to customizing the unit using RGB lights. Although some nice performance mapping might change rule.

    lol I meant pioneer DON'T regret not using RGB.. and I don't think the numark has the same design balance as the pio... It just looks like a bunch of stuff stuck on a 4 channel NS7, the pio looks like it has had actual dj's working with the engineers, the numark looks like the only guys speaking with the engineers were the marketing team.

    Hey, they can always change it in future. You never know. There's still more CMD controllers to come, maybe one will be RGB
