Beat you to it!
Incorrect. With rotary encoders you can change the sensitivity, and even have different levels of sensitivity when modifiers are held/toggled. It's AWESOME, especially for macro fx. On my Contour I have the rotary encoders all set to reset the parameter knobs for each effect to the default position (0 for non-macro FX, 50 for macro) when you depress them, so you can manipulate an effect then return it IMMEDIATELY to the "off" position.
Exactly the thing how I got my macro effects set up in CNTRL:R mapping.
what is the resolution of the rotary encoders on the PL-1?
Any chance of using them for tempo?
