But what about actual user experience?

I'd rather have a standart knob to adjust a filter, a delay, etc than encoders... I can't be so precise with encoders, regular knobs are much more precise to control those type of parameters in my opinion.

That's why the DJM's have a standart knob for dry/wet FX and an encoder for Time Fx...

Incorrect. With rotary encoders you can change the sensitivity, and even have different levels of sensitivity when modifiers are held/toggled. It's AWESOME, especially for macro fx. On my Contour I have the rotary encoders all set to reset the parameter knobs for each effect to the default position (0 for non-macro FX, 50 for macro) when you depress them, so you can manipulate an effect then return it IMMEDIATELY to the "off" position.

We are talking to several artists, and it's safe to assume that we will have more videos lined up as time goes on. Beyond that I don't want to say - yet. But you might see CMD popping up in some places that aren't traditionally DJ oriented.
