Those headshells are becoming harder to come by, so nice pickup!

As for 9 vs. 8 or earlier, I don't have much of a comparison other than Lite, but so far I'm really loving 9. I believe I've read there are some pretty significant improvements over 8 but I don't remember what they were/are.

There's still a few floating about, managed to find em for 17 quid each so not too bad, my tables didn't come with them. Had to get some to replace the silver vestax ones that I have, always bugged me seeing that V on them and the fact the silver isn't the same.

Yeah a mate of mine who I produce with runs 9, do like it and there are some nice improvements, but I'm pretty happy with 8, but maybe one day when I stop spending so much on vinyl.

How do the Shure M35S sound Amadeus? I'm using whitelabels at the moment but they are expensive to replace.

I've had a set of Shure M447's but found them a bit too boomy and lacking in mid range detail when I want to kick back and listen to a record, especially styles other than Techno etc.

Basically I'm looking for a good all rounder in terms of tracking,sound quality with a good amount of bass.
