You need to enable manual music management in iTunes

You are wrong. It is possible. Pereferences -> Device (connect iphone to mac wifi or usb and connect each other). Next - create a playlist, click right mouse on playlist in tree and.. send to iphone.


By the way. I have a problem..
If I don't use cover arts in tracks, Beatport Pro set up a waveform as default cover... I don't want it!
Is there any solution?!

Just started DJ'ing and have chucked this on my laptop. Much better than Itunes and now that I've filtered out my collection a bit better it's making things a bit more manageable. I wish there was a way to auto sync all the files which are missing data instead of having to click each one and press Sync with Beatport...

I've tried this software but for some reason its not importing half of my iTunes library. It keeps on saying that the music is already in the library but it's not. I've tried clearing it down and importing again but no joy. Seems i only have this problem. I did send the site feedback.

Can someone step me through integrating Beatport Pro with Traktor or point me to a page where I can get instructions on this? Traktor integration is the main reason I would use this software, but I can't figure out how it's supposed to work.

I was hoping once I synced all the Beatport information onto the tracks, it would save the data to the file and Traktor would instantly recognize it. Or is it more a fact I have to reload my collection and then all new data will be added?

I'm afraid to sync to Beatport. I don't trust their genres/classifications. I don't want it to overwrite the stuff I tagged them with.

So, it seems to me that if I want to use BP2 I am going to have to ditch iTunes or duplicate everything manually I do in terms of playlist creation and organisation. A big commitment up front! Not sure I am ready to do that just yet. I'll be more comfortable using it when Traktor adds it to File Management so I can see the BP2 library as well as iTunes and not instead of.

I also think it's great for buying music. Afraid to destroy my tags if I use it for everything, though.
Ryan's quicktagapp is a great alternative. Been playing around with it and think it may fit my workflow pretty nicely.
