    My wish list for S4:

    - Built in powered USB hub
    - Left pitch fader moved to the right of the fucking deck
    - The preview button in the MK II is completely stupid, the layout was much better on the original S4
    - I'd also like the ability to kill the headphone cues when the preview button is pressed since they can't be killed in browser mode

    Software: a make over

I'm just a DJ so it does everything i need, i have no need for remix decks to do live remixing and drop loops and finger drumming and all that rubbish... as far as basic mixing goes i'd say it's just about perfect as it is. S4 and Traktor Scratch = dream!

^^ Hahaha, I can live with that tradeoff.

I surely hope NI expands on that with a "rewind remix set"
Including classics such as this one to hype up the crowd:

    Press Release:

We are excited to announce the newest revolution in DJ software which will combine the best in Traktors' software with the best in Mouse and Keyboard Gesture®.

Its become obvious over the past few years that DJ's are looking for the smallest, most portable setup possible and controllers have become far more bulky to the point of inconvenient. We have found that by removing the traditional controller / laptop setup we can put more emphasis on features and less on supporting any controllers whatsoever.

So beginning in september Native instruments will remove all hardware, software and OS support from Traktor and focus on keyboard shortcuts and mouse gestures for software control, something we're sure will excite everyone.

In keeping with a streamlined setup, we will be releasing a new line of Pro Notebooks which are completely incompatible with any malware, or other software on the market. Thus we have created an all-in-one setup which you can be confident will not distract your focus like other traditional systems where you might be tempted to edit spreadsheets, check Facebook status or send emails between songs.

The Future is Coming in September 2014

They should just make laptops with a screen on the top half and a jogwheel controller on the bottom half.

In 10 years dance clubs will be virtual and DJs will play music with their minds via an internet connection to their brain stem. Also sex, drugs and everything else will be virtual too. In fact maybe we're already jacked in and you only think you are reading this "in real life."
