There are some issues with Yosemite. There is apparently an incompatibility between Avid's drivers and NI's. So, if you have any avid software (e.g., pro tools, venue, media composer) installed....there are issues. There was also one described more recently that affected several sound cards (though not the Audio 2).
hey man, thank you very much for all the information. I tried everything out and came to a conclusion.

as you said i checked the faulty of Traktor Audio 2 and it turned out to be fine. i have 2 of them so either has to be fine.so i ruled it out.

When checking the mixer channel 1 turned out to be fine and Channel 2 fader was working the otherway around. (when i turn down the fader volume increases)
    so there is that

and tracktor seems to be completely fine.

There is no firmware update for A2 ,so in conclusion it come backs to yosimite update. i read this forum and NI forums and i came across this which could be the solution.

it seems much work ,should i go for a technician or do it by myself. (i cant afford to screw it up lol )

check the native instruments sight. I think the old A2 could be connected to each channel of a two channel mixer but the new one cant. if you want to mix with your lap top and a mixer you have to get a A6 if you are using traktor pro 2. honestly you should return the A2.

Resetting SMC and PRAM is safe and a fairly normal debugging step for Apples. If something goes wrong, it indicates bigger failures. That being said, I don't see how it would solve the problem unless I'm missing something. .

So, what you're getting is that Traktor works, that the A2 works, that channel 1 on the mixer works, and that channel 2 works with the fader running backwards?

Is the fader reverse switch pressed in on the right side of the mixer?

This is incorrect. Here is the current layout diagram for the A2 for external:

Youre not annoying me at all. You are just incorrect. Did you even look at the diagram?

There are two stereo outs including the headphones. You route channel 1 to the main output, channel 2 to the headphone output, and use the mixers headphone system for cueing, and the mixers speaker outputs for your final speaker output.

ohhhhh so it can mix internally and externally with both channels on your mixer? is the nox 404 any good. I nearly got a nox 1010 and someone bought me a pioneer DJM 800. the DJM is great its actually a club mixer. I recommend you get the XLR cords they sound better and look cool!
