Traktor not responding, any ideas?

Yeah.

I upgraded OS X too early once and due to a perfect storm of f*** ups all around, I ended up not being able to use my pro tools rig for like 6 months before I gave up and sold it. I mean...I came back to PT since then, but I wait until Avid, NI, and everybody else tells me it's alright to upgrade.

Also...it's been a while since Apple introduced a new feature that I actually care about. Usually, it's just more junk to turn off and I keep using the important userland pieces from a real package manager.
