    Agreed... Theres a big difference between being "aware" and "cautious" than being constantly "scared".

    Fuck that. Just be sensible. Being on edge is probably gonna get you noticed and picked out for attack more than being cautiously confident.

    i've lived in smalltowns and big cities.

    smalltowns are way scarier because there's always the off chance a bear can jump out of the bushes and tear you apart for lunch. cities you just have to worry about crazy people, and whenever i'm in a bad part of town i just start rocking my "crazy swagger" and screwface to let mutherfuckers know im scarier than they are.

    I was once chased by a Pot Bellied Pig on a farm. That was scary enough.

    There are a lot of cats where i live. I could not see one and trip over it...
