    It's not the source of white noise that makes the sound, it's the processing.

    I use either the Oddity or sylenth1 to make white noise and I can clearly tell the difference between both, and I use one for certain tracks and for certain pieces... the oddity has many different settings that cannot be achieved through Sylenth1. Sylenth1 has other setting not in Oddity... But hey if you are having trouble deciphering one from the other then thats you.

    On a side note : Oddity is also really good for producing pink noise...

    It's easy to hear what you want to hear.
    If you honestly think you can nail down the source of white noite of maybe 50 files with no knowledge where it was created then you either have blessed ears or you are just talking BS.
