just noticed when running on battery the battery symbol flashes which is annoying.

In my case it will be cool... can't count the time I forgot to plug my external PSU :eek: Crashed only once though...

Not read the whole of this thread so sorry if this has already been covered but are the sample decks working a little different to before? On the s4 before the update holding down the sample deck button reset the sample and played from the start. Doesn't seem to do that anymore. I've been drinking though so this may just be me!!

running tsp 2 records timecoded, 8 sample decks loopd, all full on 4 fx units (don't want to know about the noise it produces) on a windows 7 32 bit core2duo 2,4 ghz with 3 gb ram and not even above the 40% load for about 20 minutes now.

Oh yeah, and I'm typing this while running this little test with wifi on.

All 4 effects banks on and also Key Lock on all sample decks?

What latency do you have?

2.9 milliseconds on my denon soundcard. keylock is pimping it to 50% load though. but still... wifi is still on and stuff. I love my little toshiba

The S4 mapping hasn't changed, it's still version 2.0.1

Something's changed. I used to be able to hold down a sample button on the X1 and it would stop the slot. Now nothing happens. I'm guessing it's a mapping command that's changed.

That's exactly what I was talking about. Holding down the sample button would reset the sample to the beginning and stop playing.
