I bought this for parts (only $44 on amazon) .. An OEM of Midiplus (also m-audio oxygen 25), of which apparently the keybed (by Ta horng) is a drop-in replacement for an MPK25 and even including shipping is over $70 cheaper than a new Akai replacement.
What sucks is that the Shipping company are going by Box Volume (166 Cubic inches per pound=18lbs!) rather than weight (about 6 lbs) and turns out its going to cost me another $50 to transport it .... by sea, or over $100 by air FFS!
Worst Case Scenario I guess is it doesn't fit, I sell it and I lose $20.

Why have AIAIAI become so popular? It's a Danish brand, so a lot of Danish dj's use them. I've only tried them on at a vinyl store listening to records and I thought the lack of foam on the band made them uncomfortable. Epic sound though.
