He nails it on the head though...pretty intelligent guy it seems by the way he handled the question.
Rep to Afrojack. It was a good answer to a difficult question.
i hear ya.
i also became a foodie a few years ago when i met my current girlfriend who introduced me to different styles of cooking and flavors. that same type of stuff does carry over there as well, but i can now cook an awesome risotto thanks to her and gordon ramsay!

i got tired last night and didn't put up the classical stuff. the movie shine is what actually really got me into that style. the way the rach 3 was played in that movie made me shiver and all my hairs stood up. it is one of the most amazing and intense moments i have ever seen when he is playing those pieces. especially in that concert when he just disappears into himself and you only hear the heartbeat. if you've never seen this movie i would highly recommend it. this particular version is my favorite since you can really hear the emotion in it compared to other performers.
i can't find this without the movie bits included but check out the huge chords at the end.
the other moving performances i've seen have surprisingly been by very young kids on tv shows like america's got talent (sorry but i can't find those videos very easily). there was a little girl who was maybe around 10 that was playing so deeply, so emotionally connected to the piano that it was a moving experience just to witness. maybe it's just me since i hold the piano in such a bright romantic light. it's so versatile and to me is really the only instrument capable of consistently standing on it's own to create a full sonic experience. with that said it's all about the emotion of the performance. i've seen people bang out a super technical piece but it just lacks heart and soul. i'd much rather watch someone play with their emotions and not be perfect in a technical sense. for me it's a more connecting experience.
