I've always found the search on vbulletin fine - you just have to know exactly what to search for!

The advanced search works really well imo, really helps filter out the less relevant threads

20 years back searching meant going down to the library and busting out the microfiche

It works for those who know what their looking for but can be a pain in the ass for a newbie or someone who is not quite sure what he's searching for.

Advanced search works pretty well, but I use Google all the time
