    Default 3d and 3m Modality

Kilbot, my friend, wait for the 3m. They just gave the 3m it's own section in the forums today. They posted the pics of them ready to go to the stores. The stuff you can do with that touch CF will make it worth the wait.
Give the mode system a little more practice and it will be 2nd nature. And please don't forget the beauty of the mode system. You can use the same fader(or deck surface), and motions on the faders(movements that you can practice and perfect) to do a multitude of tricks; i.e. traditional scratching, FX scratching, key, pitch, fade out, dry/wet, etc. Changing between the controls instantly. Isn't that more time efficient and creativty inducing than having to move all around your controller with both hands.

you guys are pretty convincing. with the 3m just on the horizon i'll put some more time in the 3d's before coming to a decision.
i like the idea of not having protruding knobs and faders for portable purposes.
i wonder how they'll perform with sweaty hands.... anybody have any experience with that yet?
it gets pretty hot and crazy at some house shows haha

SCS.3m is now officially out guys. Stanton website will reflect that on Monday, but I can tell you that a few retailers already have it in stock.
