hehehe.... and your friends don't think you are crazy?

Being serious though, like Frank said, practice like you play, if you follow it to the tee, then that is exactly what you have to do. Build your own "mini-club". The neighbors might not like it too much though.

Stand to mix, sit to work out new tsi mappings. I mixed one set sitting down (in 20 years lol) for a bit and it was only because I had a broken leg and my cast went above my knee.

I stand DJing and producing. Basically my ass is my quality meter. If it aint movin then neither is the track/mix. I even stand to do the more tedious parts of production like sample cuts and sequencing.

Of course I sit all day at work so I actually like to get up on my feet. I could see someone on their feet all day want to give the dogs a break but I'd still probably go for a bar stool or something over slouching in front of the screen.

Standing up with a mini-strobe at head height to train myself for the constant camera flashes and crowd cheers looping on a spare channel to be prepared

I get bored playing after an hour if I'm sitting down.

It varies depending on what room I'm in. If I'm in my bedroom then I'll stand because the desk I use is high enough that I don't have to bend my back to DJ.

If I'm DJing downstairs I will start off standing, then switch to sitting for a few songs because reaching down at the controls hurts my back if I do it for long periods
