I guess, unless it is priced really well it just seems like at that point you might as well consider other options for 4 channel control since you would still have to route it through a sound card and possibly also a mixer depending on the circumstances. Seems like a lot of gear, money, and cables when it could be simplified.

I see how this has a market for 2 channel scratch setup but for 4 channel I would be looking at a VCI-400 which has a similar button grid layout and more. Or just a mixer and your choice of button grid midi controller.

It's not much to route at all, stereo RCA to the house mixer, and one USB cable from the mixer to your laptop, and one USB cable from your laptop to your Interface.

Seems rather simple than trying to route 4 stereo channels of audio from your interface to the house mixer while while some one else is trying to do their thing, plus you have to unplug all your shiz when you finish and plug all the CDJ's/Turntables back in.

You've got a point there, I guess there can be a benefit to internal mixing.

Plus I always know what tools I'm going to have. Some clubs you never know. Could be an 800, 600, 92 or even something else altogether!

Yeah, but there's something to be said about having a nice big mixer with plenty of space to work.

While I do like the K2 and think it will do well, I believe it's too small to work as your main "mixer".

K2 and that mixer and boom. Small footprint setup with everything for a small gig. Maybe everything for big gig.
Obviously not with timecode so kinda makes the scratch-ability redundant but still a sweet setup.

I bet theres room in there for an Audio 4... i know a guy that would love a bash at that.
